Aubrie Ferris (she/her) is a director and devisor whose work has been seen internationally. Aubrie aims to create works that encourage audiences to see the world like they are children again: every moment is beautiful and fresh, filled with a bit of magic. In a child’s eyes, everything is new, exciting, and dangerous. Anything can be an adventure, a battle, a great mystery; nothing is mundane or boring. 

Through her works, Aubrie encourages her audiences to leave behind the monotony of daily life and find beauty and terror in the simple moments that make us human.

Aubrie graduated with honors from Pace University with a B.A. in Directing and a minor in English Literature. She trained internationally at Institute of the Arts Barcelona. She began her theatrical career exploring the works of Shakespeare and later diving into the world of Theatre for Young Audiences. Recent directing credits include Laura Pittenger’s 1 Bed 1 Bath at Pace University’s Directing Spotlight, produced by The Drama League, Uncle Jim Called at Pace University,  and Northshore vs Westerberg: A Miscast Concert at Feinstein’s 54 Below. Recent assistant director credits include Into the Woods (dir. Cristina Angeles).
